HOW IT WORKS

Each week we will work through one tutorial from the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson, there will be practical guidance on-hand with additional handouts at the group meetings. You will then have the tools to practice each of the exercises throughout the week. The following week will start the meeting with a discussion relating to the previous weeks exercise where you will be able to share the results of your photographs.

We will also have our very own forum to post photos for discussion and help!

Each exercise will have its own forum thread. Following each group meeting you'll need to read the relevant chapter/section in the book and then post your images to the forum thread. Everyone will be able to offer help and advice to one another.

The course has been designed to suit those beginning their photographic journey or people with intermediate knowledge.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

You will need the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson (Amazon or good book stores for around £12) the REVISED EDITION (the original doesn't have the exercises included!) and a commitment to completing all assignments and getting involved in the discussions would be good too!

Course Diploma Award!

At the end of the course those that have completed all study elements will be awarded the Understanding Exposure Diploma Certificate from Shutter Bug Photography.
